Helen and Ian Jones are two friends whose dream was to open a cafe combined with an art gallery. Helen is a trained confectioner and Ian a fantastic artist and illustrator. I thought I would secretly make their dream come true albeit in miniature. The pleasure I get when I hand over my creations is priceless. They were flabbergasted! I managed to pick up some little snippets of what Helen's real life cafe would have been like e.g. lace table cloths and her grandson Jensen's favourite meal. The paintings in the gallery are miniatures of Ian's own paintings with one of two of mine gate crashing the display.
